I don’t mind changing my own flat.

But there are times the wife (no pics) has gotten a flat while I’m out of town.

She also had a battery crap out while she was traveling and they came and brought her a new one.

Have used their rising a couple of times as well.

For 80 a year? Yeah it’s worth it

We've used it a couple of times for dead batteries, and a tow or two.

Well worth it in my opinion.

Sorry you are too weak to change a tire.

Yes, for the battery replacement alone. Their membership fee and a new battery was cheaper than having a battery replacement company come out and do it. Oh and the battery replacement company never showed up. Kept telling me 30 minutes for the entire day. I bought AAA in the evening. Called AAA first thing in the morning and they were there in less than 30 minutes.

If you buy the membership same day as the request, you might get charged for some services. Thus I joined the night before and was able to get the battery at cost with no service charge the next day.

Louisiana also has some trucks (sponsored by State Farm) that patrol the states highways offering just such assistance.

It’s worth it for me. I’ll change a tire in a safe area like a parking lot but if I’m on the interstate then Shane can risk his life doing it

Do they still give you access to all the paper maps for your trip?

I have had some loong (2+hr) wait times when stranded with a dead vehicle with AAA.

However, when i lost my car keys while on a business trip and realized it when I went to my car upon return, they got me going with a key/lock guy and a tow truck to the dealer fairly quickly.

Glad we have it but view it as insurance.

I got it this year to save a bunch on a hotel for winter break down on Captiva. May not be the wisest choice at the moment

It’s $4-5 a month at a minimum. I’ve used it a few times and was quite pleased.

One of the best things I’ve ever bought. I’ve been a member my entire adult life.

No.

You are the service providers last priority when AAA calls them for you. Cash is king.

You could not be a pussy, changing a tire ain't that bad.

Worth it! It really pays for itself and it's nice not worrying about my kids which have been saved a few times by AAA...and their friends.

I have never used the emergency services...but have had good luck with Marriott AAA rates..got a suite in NYC for a week cheaper than the Marriott rate for a regular room...and saved 200$ on 4 nights in Boston...it's just random though because sometimes the AAA rates are more expensive than the regular rates
