The Johnny Bright thread had me up in the feels about the girard and jprd days. I remember my coach buying me a 10-k after i smashed into the plywood fence of a homer i nearly robbed.
Anyways. I first want to introduce you to the 1988 10-k Coaches Convention commercial.
Also the 1987 Commercial as well.
Youtube link Must see too
Then Found a 10-k website and it says they making a comeback May 2026.
LINK
Last Nugget.... Ebay has an old 10-k glass bottle on sale for $60. Imagine if we kept all our trash from the 80's how rich we'd be right now.

An ice-cold 10K Tea after cutting grass in the summertime as a kid was the shite. I hope they bring that back eventually.

Coach Kiffin needs to go all in on 10-k hydration for our football program!

I always liked it more than Gatorade and Powerade

I mentioned this in the last 10k thread, but I can swear that at one point 10k was carbonated.

Did a science project comparing 10K, Gatorade, and Powerade for electrolytes
10K won
Also tasted great
Miss it

We would get one small cup of Quick Kick midway through football practice. Our coach was very progressive when it came to strength and conditioning. Most coaches didn;'t believe in breaks during practice. I'm pretty sure he watered it down and pocketed the difference though. It tasted pretty weak.

My late father invented 10K powder and several of the liquid flavors. He was in charge of everything from marketing, production, distribution, and making sure the recipes were done correctly. The first produced flavor was fruit punch, which was the brainchild of Edie Rosenblum (original owner of Kentwood Spring Water). The Iced Tea was the #1 seller for years. At one time, 10K was a corporate sponsor for the Senior Bowl and the Sugar Bowl. 33 different colleges used 10K as their official sports beverage drink. 10K dominated Gatorade in local NOLA and Gulf Coast sales numbers. KSW eventually changes hands and gets sold. New owners had ZERO clue about the 10K product or local market. Due to some very poor business decisions against my dad's advice, the product became less profitable, and the owners shut it down to strictly focus on selling water. It was a great ride and one of the things my dad was most proud of. I probably attended a dozen Senior Bowl and Sugar Bowl games (all-access sideline passes) during the mid 80's to early 90's. My brother has been in direct contact with the new owner. I have several NIB igloo coolers from the 90's .... Looking fwd to the new 10K
this was me holding up the 10K towel after ALA upset MIAMI in the 1992 NC game. George Teague had one of the most memorable TD saving plays in the NC game history.

Made with 100% pure cane sugar.
I’m saying that as a good thing.
