City has been run by Democrats for how long now...

Looks like NOLA needs another property tax increase..

Clearly not as important as outfitting NOPD with rainbow badges for pride week.

And the dumb bitch staff attorney was a worthless piece of shite too. A certain derogatory word springs to mind when I think about her arse.

I was in court a few months ago, and this female attorney filed a motion to strike language from plaintiffs lawsuit which stated the “petitioner further prays for any and all relief the nature of this claim may permit.”

For non-lawyers this is very common language probably found in all lawsuits. Supposedly, there was a case recently that granted the removal of the language for being vague.

The court granted the motion. That butch walked out like she was hot shite.

I couldn’t believe swb was wasting money on worthless motions like that. It’s pathetic. I’d bet they are doing that in every lawsuit that they get now and are just throwing money away.

I’ll see in a few months bc the claims dept and lawyers refuse to respond to call or letters, which is forcing me to file suit.

Wow, I mean wow.

IMO 941 payments should be eliminated. It's the federal government double dipping. Let the businesses keep that money.

So the S&WB is doing in house payroll?

Any decent payroll company would have the responsibility here.

I’m dreading filing suit against them. Doing it for a lady at church pro bono bc they fricked her yard up. Just trying to assist her.

Is non-payment of employee federal tax withholdings personal liability (possibly criminal too) against the head person responsible for the agency?

The voters in this city are morons.

There is actually a story spread on the street that the Mayor has no control over the SWB.

Mitch and the B-tch have more than doubled our SWB bills and want more claiming they need the money for infrastructure. They would have the money if they did not do things like this and squandering the billion they got from FEMA after Katrina, being inept enough to fall under a federal consent decree, wasting tens of millions on an overtime scam and a pension scheme. allowing employees to steal hundreds of thousands of dollars in supplies and paying over ten million for a billing system that does not work and for which they are paying more.

But, according to the tax lien, the Sewerage & Water Board withheld the money from employees, but did not remit the money to the government.
