My local news on the MS Gulf Coast interviewed ole baw from Iowa, LA. I bet he posts here. I hope he sees this. But I have to say, this guy gets it! As somebody who went through Katrina, everything can be replaced. I love his attitude as he recovers from this storm and Mr. Yarbro, yes, you will come back better than ever!

shite after what all that area went through and he only lost some shingles. Yeah I’d have a good fricking attitude too

And FTR I’ve been there twice in the past 5 days. I’ve seen how bad it actually is.

That dude got lucky compared to some of the shite I’ve seen

Um, no he didn’t. His roof got ripped down to the plywood, and his rooms flooded.

IIRC it was founded by farmers from the state of Iowa who came down to grow rice, That's how they pronounced it.

Rabideaux's is in Iowa. Already back up and running cash only as of 2 days ago. Best sausage in the state.

Didn’t realize the storm surge went that far North.

I’ll go with Southwest Mississippi over East Texas since I’m north of I-10 but south of Alexandria.

No, it’s not truth at all. Anyone North of I-10 is a true southerner. Anyone south of I-10 is some genetically mutated expelled Canadian criminal.

Between where you dumb hicks live and New Orleans is that sweet spot, right in the screws, known as Mandeville where the milk tastes like honey, the beer flows like wine, and the women all drive Yukons with 30 A stickers.
