My buddy is drooling to get his greasy hands on the precious R22 in my system

for some reason when all this kicked off, it got real hard to get techs to return recovery tanks... i may have found a couple myself LOL.... they make mister systems that activate with the condenser motor, but constantly putting municipal water on the coils will eventually rot them away
good time to replace the disconnect outside as well.... new secondary pan and drain run, i have ruud on my house, youre gonna be set up

It's all actually 31 years old now

you got your moneys worth.. i always tell the young kids coming into the trade if you frick up someones ac their gonna be pissed and warm for a day or 2... frick up a furnace and they can die... that monitor is important :usa:
manual j would help a lot... but those old units were produced when electricity was cheap, so just throw big durable shite in there and let it chew... stuff now a days is a lot thinner and the efficiency standards hurt. maybe have a maintenance done by a company before you run the furnace just to have another eye on that part, also good time to upgrade the co2 monitor
if you end up switching gasses, make sure to acid flush and pull a damn good vacuum, its mostly common sense shite

idk anyone who only does ductwork fab and install... may have to call a company you like and tell them over the phone exactly what you want so they shouldnt send a tech but an installer... if they cant or wont do that move on down the list to the next company

been to the factory in fort smith, arkansas... same damn parts off the same damn table... literally the plastic badge is the difference at the end of the line.

The plastic badge they slap on at the end... same factory, same parts, same techs. Anecdotally I think they sell more Rheem in the north with bigger heat kits, and more Ruud down south with more on the air side

Been doing HVAC for 16 years.... its what i have on my home.
Where the rubber hose meets the furnace and where it meets the fan is a small hole that sometimes gets clogged. Run a paper clip or length of wire through those holes, crimp one end of the rubber tube and blow in it to check for holes. Something on the control voltage side is holding it out.

bayou has the best players regularly, and do good maintenance on the tables... the rest of the bar is still covered in nicotine and the carpet has been there since the titanic set sail.

Tiger is just a little to small. If the only problem at Kenny's is the dark stall, thats not bad, service is usually good. I go to clicks sometimes bc of the players that are there are fun to shoot with, service is usually garbage, the ac doesnt work on one side of the bar, and i cant eat my hooters in peace anymore... Rickochet has good service, good ac, good music, and decent tables... trickshits isnt worth the drive.

patty''s has a pretty good tournament on monday nights if you like old school straight 8, the neighborhood is garbage

Typically unnecessary, you would be fine just flushing well with water.
