American Indians, Hindu, Latvians to name a few who used the symbol, but this guy probably isn't referencing these historical types of peace, but he is within his rights to do so.

The Buddhists used the swastika for over 1500 years before Hilter and the Nazis used the symbol. The real problem is the leftists and media over generations have allowed symbols to take on way more meaning than they should in an attempt to become the thought police. It was a symbol of good fortune that can also be found through out the ancient world. The Nazis, Goebbel especial and Hitler were occultist who took several symbols from the ancient world to design their uniforms and brand their movement. The double lightning bolts come from Norse mythology as another example. We are blaming symbols for the actions of people and it is pretty ignorant.

Does it ever get old whining like a bitch about leftists and the media? Apparently not.

A fricking swastika? People lost their life fighting to prevent the spread of what that symbol came to represent. But again, he has the right to put it up.

Nazi Germany was the only country standing up against communist.

completely different. he was doing that on someone else's field while working.

Does that matter? He was allowed to do it. They didn't force him to stop.. As his employer the 49ers could have told him he wasn't able to do it and if he continued they would fine him for doing so, but they didn't. So he had a right to do it.

I may be alone but I don't give a shite what symbols he displays. He can display signs that say "nikka, nikka, nikka" for all I care. I will judge the man based on his actions. And that starts with acknowledging he is obviously tone deaf, but that doesnt automatically make him racist.

No, we are acknowledging that symbols are given power by the people and institutions who organize under them - and the most visible and powerful use of that symbol in the western world was the Nazi's.

Its ignorant to think that it hasn't shifted to a symbol of hate because of how it was used by the Nazis- if you are a Buddhist, I can see how that would upset you and I would guess the reception in areas of the world with a significant Buddhist population would likely be different.

ETA: The guy may not be racist or a proponent of hate, but he sure likes displaying racist and hateful symbols.

I know the history of the swastika, it didn't always represent the nazi party. But don't give me that shite about not knowing the history of the swastik

The "ok" symbol is now considered a hate symbol.

He is free to put whatever he wants on his property, just like I'm free to keep my bowl cut and "ok" emojis.

Did you even click the link in the OP? There are pictures of the Swastikas he's put on his property, and they bear absolutely no resemblance to Buddhist ones. They are rotated and in the traditional black and red color scheme of Nazi Germany. He is making no attempt to liken it to any Buddhist tradition, and anyone making justifications for him are just as awful as he is.

Another image of the "different" Buddhist swastika. The nazis used several hundred symbols from other culture. The weak minded can't get over it and realize they mean other things.

He is furiously googling to find some obscure tilted swastika on a hindu statue.

Hope he finds one that is black on a white background and facing the right way.

I did, and you posted some BS image of a symbol that has nothing to do with anything - trying to discredit the information I posted about the Buddhist Swastika saying the buddhist used a different swastika. They did not.
