The one thing that kind of gets me is that he is displaying this in direct view of a school that has it's most enrollment of kids who he knows will be be upset by this.
While on the one hand, it is a good teaching moment, on the other I hate that thing guy feels the need to be a prick like this. I'd be If be all for the community putting up a temporary wall to block this or making his life miserable in a nonviolent way until he just takes it down

Thanks, solid post. I was reacting based on context of your earlier post indicating that "poliboard would back this guy 100%"
I took affront to that, because I think everyone should "back [fill in the blank inalienable right as enumerated in the constitution] 100%". These rights cannot and should not be stripped or infringed, especially not because of an idea of "offensiveness".
And again, we have a consensus that flying a swastika is a dick move.
Which it seems we agree on that sentiment as well. Cheers, man.

If you are not a racist, you don't do yourself any favors by putting out the swastika along with the confederate flag. That's the perception.
Doesnt matter what other people think. Other people need to stop making assumptions. If a guy says he's not a racist, then he's not a racist. That's the end of it. Who are you to tell him who he is when he clearly stated that he's not.
I fly the stars and bars on my house. Somebody like you might look at it and think I'm a racist. I'm anything but a racist. I also fly the Bonnie Blue, the Louisiana Republic flag and the current iteration of the American flag. I have a plantation style house and it's tradition to fly, from your porch, all the flags that your property was under throughout history.
I could see some liberal rag running a story with a selectively edited picture in the header, showing only the stars and bars off the front of my house and labeling me a racist. 0 context.
Who knows how much they are leaving out of this story.
