think the fact that he stole from so many people added to the Mallory Beach crime added to the gay kid murder rumors shows that there are many people who had a motive to hurt his family. To me, that’s reasonable doubt.
How many of the people he stole from were aware of that on June 7?

He is doing a good job of maintaining composure when he gets up to the edge. Waters keeps attributing Alex ability to manipulate and insist he is trying to manipulate the jury with his trial lawyer skills. Alex is not some amazing trial lawyer. His skills are more in negotiating, relationships and ability to get cases or be retained because of venue. He is not Perry Mason. The defense will flip that around and say the only objective evidence of manipulation in this case comes from SLED.
Waters and the prosecution have fricked this up from the gun.

The kid who's mom allegedly tripped and fell at Mosselle wasn't sure if it was before or after June 7.
No one else aside from that has testified they had knowledge before June 7.

So much for the 3-4 hours Waters pledged yesterday

How about his long time friend, the lawyer with a different firm, who AM asked to pay directly to AM 900K that would normally go to the firm. Then AM sent the friend 600K, said there was a problem and would the friend send AM's firm a check for all 900K (I know I don't have the numbers exactly right). So the friend 'loaned' AM the rest of hundreds of thousands. Didn't this happen just before the firing, and his friend knew something was wrong before the 7th but didn't know he'd been screwed until after?

Noticing-Buster is in the third row. Further back in seating.

Buster and AM's sister both got moved way back, the sister for passing AM a Grisham novel, Buster for flipping the bird at Mallory Beach's family lawyer when he was actively testifying.

This guy is getting in some closing arguments during cross. Nice.

The Prosecution is doing a terrible job right now

my stream froze right when AM was speaking about Maggie's routine stomach doctors appointment.
I went elsewhere and I missed a lot.

Back on the Financials
This cross is abysmal, disjointed, and without a clear purpose similar to the state's case in chief.

Been watching off and on today... This has been absolutely terrible. The prosecution is blowing this case.
From the prosecutor being a pompous arse yesterday and beating the financials to death, to this disjointed clusterfrick of randomness.

Ok, one thing I’m a little fuzzy on-is that are there 2 blackouts missing, the original and the replacement?
Posted on 2/24/23 at 2:33 pm to Lsut81
I’m biased because I think that he’s guilty as sin, but I think that the Prosecution nailed him on his consistent and frequent lying-honing in on how he told SLED that he didn’t know where Paul and Maggie were while he took a nap.

Y’all think the state is blowing it? I mean it’s obvious to me that AM is full of shite and has been lying about everything. How are they blowing it exactly? Just trying to understand why people think this.

Bc Murdoch only needs 1 juror to side with him... The prosecutor being a bully/argumentative yesterday was a bad look, as many analysts on tv said, and now today being all over the place.
Now the "successful career" and allowing Murdoch to say "No, I was an addict, that isn't success" makes him come across humble, even though he isn't.
I have 0 doubt he did it, but if he gets off, the last day is the reason why, not the evidence.

Gotcha. Yeah hard to argue that
