Was it on another garage? The actual quote from sheriff says nearby garage while article says homeowner’s garage.
Did perp think gas was still on or still present enough in house and needed to leave sign it was done by a racist by leaving “oddly-shaped swastika and and a misspelled racial slur” on another garage instead of this house’s garage?
First Electric fire, house being repaired while homeowners live elsewhere, during repair break in & minor damage reported by homeowners several days ago, Tuesday the contractors in house report gas, find burner on filling house with gas as pilot light not lit (gas is turned off to house completely by gas company), after midnight Wednesday fire at house and illiterate or dyslexic attempt at a racial slur left on nearby garage.
With all the quirks in story and Without completed investigation it’s on USA Today as an explosion caused by racists with links to Beto and Biden bashing Trump for racism and homeowners already decided to not rebuild even though they never have had issues until this.

Sounds like a case of insurance fraud. The South always gets a bad rap for being racist, but all these incidents happen in the north or mid west it seems.

This does seem incredibly suspicious, and convenient given the other background about the supposed electrical fire and the fact that no one was home.
They probably thought that the race angle would be a surefire winner, not realizing that the insurance company is a business and will investigate it fully regardless any graffiti. That may actually be one of the things that ultimately does them in, if the cops are able to track back any spray paint purchases in the area and check the video.

I did see a video of house. Was it in the Beto campaign video about bad Trump that didn’t have any mention of the house fire story in video’s description at top of page?
