It's a good length. I had one die at 9 years old and one at 18. The young one died from a stroke and I out the old one down.

It's not uncommon to have them reach 20 to 22

Does it make me dumb that I have no fricking clue how I would turn a viral photo into 81 million dollars?

Not really. It’s just that owners feed cats that dry food garbage which on the whole is shite for their diet. They aren’t like dogs that can scarf down almost anything. Dry food increases chances of UTIs and diabetes in cats in my experience. Plus, dry fed are usually over fed. Cats shouldn’t get fat.

7 years is pretty damn young for a cat. Damn shame.

Any advice on what to feed them other than dry food that is healthy?

Damn that's sad.

My mom had a cat live to be 22. Hated everyone but my mother. Craziest thing I ever saw.

7 years is short for a cat

I think he was a shelter cat, so that may be how long the family had him or it could be how long he has been an internet meme.

Jones, will you answer my question? I'm now concerned that I'm killing my cat with dry food.

I'd assume that you would be good if you don't only feed them that. Feed them some canned wet food sometimes and even give them some left over meat that you may have (chicken, beef, all that).
If you mainly only feed them dry food, make sure they always have a lot of fresh water.

(This is coming from someone who owns a few cats.)

Per the experts, they don't really know.

I do a balance between the two
