She has UTI issues from a dry food diet and was never a water drinker which contributed to crystal formation. Since then, UTIs haven’t been a problem. She only had one and that was stress induced due to professional house cleaning services and the like.
It sure beats the $120 on vet appts just to get the UTI meds and checkup and the urine damage to carpet etc.
Plus. My tabby prior to this one developed diabetes while out of town. Went into a coma before picking him up (had been getting insulin Txs). He was 13 but it was a shite way to go out.
Now I don’t mess with that dry shite period. Cats don’t need the carbs. I’ve done enough research that I’ll just stick with the obligate carnivore diet.
