That playlist in the OP is amazing. “Obscure ‘80s music” is an overused phrase but that playlist is pretty obscure. Brings back a lot of memories. Thanks for sharing!

Not obscure, but the video for Seperate Ways was filmed in New Orleans.

I read this the first time without realizing who you were talking about. I remember her, the cover charge girl. $5 on Thursday nights.

She was a mess! I came in one night, paid my cover, and out of nowhere she said "you're lost, like in life." I mean I was at the time, but bitch you're working cover charge and obese.

Probably a Boomer.

Probably a Millenial.

The 90's were clearly, by light years, the apex of human culture, especially music.

I hated 80s music as a kid but like a lot of it now. Seeing the music videos from that era make me appreciate it more and wish I would have experienced that timeframe as an adolescent / teen.

90's music was so bad that its biggest purveyor shot himself in the head right in the middle of it because it was so bad.

There's a new wave pop song by Manufacture called "As the End Draws Near" on there that features Sarah McLachlan on vocals.
