Anybody dumb enough to send 25.00 a month to this scam. I think the starving children in Africa is a more real issue.

this still exists?

The most notable recording of "Let's Get Together" came in 1967, when The Youngbloods released their version under the title "Get Together", from their debut album The Youngbloods. Initially released as a single in July 1967, it became a minor Hot 100 hit for them, peaking at No. 62.

However, renewed interest in the Youngbloods' version came when it was used in a radio public service announcement as a call for brotherhood by the National Conference of Christians and Jews. It was subsequently re-released in 1969, and peaked at No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 and reaching No. 37 on the US Adult Contemporary chart. It was their only top 40 hit on the Hot 100.

I read up on this "charity." The woman running it is second generation in her family to use it as an ATM. Her father, a rabbi, started it in the 70's. She pulls over a million a year from it.

Her salary alone, is enough to feed 3,333 old folks per month for a year. I saw no reporting on how much they spend on commercials and fundraising.

Is this the organization that puts out commercials wanting you to give money to support starving Jewish widows?

Who would give to this? Jews have the highest standard of living of any group in the world, let them take care of their own.

Isn’t it geared towards Evangelicals that believe a Jewish state will bring about the return of the Messiah?

Idk much about religion.

Not me. I question what goes to marketing and into the wallets of upper management. I suspect more than to freezing, starving aged Jewish survivors of the camps huddled in hovels in Beersheba or Nazareth.

Pretty decent 70’s Jesus People tune though.

Returns for us again…”
