Well if you don’t fall in line with the group think you get banned. I’m banned on the golf board for calling out extremely obvious lies by two old frickers that want to use the board as their personal diary. Sad!

I never eat after 9pm or before 2pm

So at least a 15-hour fast every day

I feel better, sleep better, BP lower

Started about 2 years ago

But almost zero weight loss

Pre workout is going to do very little if you are underfueled.

Wrong, pre-workout is fine with no food in your system and probably will absorb easier. Unfortunately if your fasting, pre-workout breaks that fast because they contain calories. Biggest issue with pre-workout on and empty stomach is it might make some peoples stomach a bit queasy.

You mean the lifestyle of a mid 40's guy with a wife, kids , a business, very little free time and everything else that comes day to day? Yeah you're right, I'm sure I'm the only one in this boat...

If I ate like you’re suggesting, I’d fall out with the volume of training I’m doing right now

Okay, and? I'm sure with your Bro lifestyle you need more fuel for your excessive training.. Not everyone here wants to be a barrel chested mirror monkey..

You clearly have no idea what you are talking about and just want to spout off

Lulz, No you just don't like being wrong and it ruins your schtick that got you booted from the golf board..

Didn't you just refer to your training with the word "volume" which indicates heavier than normal training?? which is it? And if you're lifting so little why are you eating 4500+ calories daily that's you're claiming? Thyroid issues?

20:4

I give myself from 4pm to 8pm on weekdays to eat. On weekends I relax that a lot. I break the fast with a snack that has some sort of protein value to it whether it's a bar, string cheese, shake... just not chips or shite like that. At night I try as best I can to do home cooked meals depending on my wife and i's schedule. I feel great and I continue to lose weight on it.

I've done a more hard-core one in the past - like a 22:2 1 meal a day kind of deal and for my 1 meal id give myself no restrictions. Pizza, burgers, alcohol, you name it. Lost weight but man I could shite through a screen door! Do not recommend.

You'll be downvoted for that, but I've always gotten a small chuckle out of super serious answers for very slights "fasts" as if high school (and more especially college) students don't regularly lazy their way through breakfast hours without thinking about it or giving it a name.

Don't get me wrong. I skip breakfast too. I eat dinner by 5:30pm and don't eat again until about 12pm or so the next day. I just have never really considered it anything beyond "not eating breakfast".

The people who are like "I don't eat past 10pm until 9am" especially make me chuckle because it's like.. so you don't eat basically while you're sleeping, give or take a couple of hours? Okay congrats..

I skip breakfast a couple of times each week and fast for 24 hours once or twice per month.

Skip breakfast.

Once I started skipping breakfast, it was easy to transition to one meal a day, early evening.

If I eat breakfast, I get hungry at lunchtime. If I skip breakfast, I don’t get hungry at lunchtime.

I quit eating at 7 and don't starting eating again until noon. I don't eat any calories except for the cream in my morning coffee in that span.

Intermittent fasters of the OT

I wouldn't say so much that its intermittent fasting but I've trained my body to just need a small snack around this time and then one meal per day and it works better than any diet I've ever used because I'm not good at putting limits on myself, such as I can't have this food or eat at this time.

I can also go a whole day sometimes and its 9 pm and I haven't eaten if I'm busy without even realizing it and its not a problem because your body just gets used to it over time. Drink some water and you'll be fine if you feel hungry before its time to eat.

Low carb, low sugar lunch. Usually animal protein and vegetables around 1pm.

Low carb, low sugar dinner. Usually around 5 or 6pm consiting if animal protein and vegetables, low carb bread.
