What exactly qualifies it as a river? Like can I just get out my garden hose and make a 5 foot puddle in my backyard and call it a river and claim it’s the world’s smallest river?

I am guessing there is a minimum amount of water flow to be classified as a river. Roe River in Montana comes from a large spring a few hundred feet from the Missouri River while the D River in Oregon exits a decent sized lake a few hundred feet from the Pacific Ocean.

New Jersey is the only state in the Union that does not have either north-south or east-west oriented border.

This is stupidity disguised as intelligent trivia. The last day of Summer is the day before the Autumnal Equinox and the last day of Winter is the day before the Spring Equinox.

If you look up the Latin definition of equinox, or just use common sense, you'll see the douchebagginess of the trivial fact.

And it’s probably going to need to that again by the end of the day.

I wonder why they call them the equinoxes?

While dogs have 10,000 to 100,000 more scent receptors than humans, cats can actually smell better than dogs.

At just over 200 feet long. The Roe River in Montana is considered the shortest river in the world, although Oregon claims tbe D River as the shortest.

Still waiting.

Went to a map to confirm, cool fact. That said, maybe super semantic, or maybe just wrong since it doesn't border another land entity, but what about Hawaii?

More like 99.99%. You occasionally have a male calico or tortoiseshell with Kleinfelter's syndrome.
