I'll start...
The last day of Summer and the last day of Winter have the virtually the same amount of daylight....about 12 hours.
While dogs have 10,000 to 100,000 more scent receptors than humans, cats can actually smell better than dogs.
At just over 200 feet long. The Roe River in Montana is considered the shortest river in the world, although Oregon claims tbe D River as the shortest.

I drove over the D River on Friday. US 101 in Lincoln City crosses it. The length of the D River is variable due to the ocean tides. Sometimes it is longer than the Roe River, sometimes it is shorter.

What exactly qualifies it as a river? Like can I just get out my garden hose and make a 5 foot puddle in my backyard and call it a river and claim it’s the world’s smallest river?
