Crime in Sports

Two stand up comedians give the resume of an athlete with a checkered past. Not just the OJ type athlete that we all already know about. It is funny and informative.

If you have a strong interest in longevity and physiology then The Drive with Peter Attia can be very good

Some of them are technical since they are aimed at medical doctors and PhD types but there's a lot of good stuff on exercise and diet that is good for a more general audience

Crackpot, a podcast that sees two old pals from law school tackle a different conspiracy theory every Monday.

I love old school pro rasslin’. My favorite podcast on that subject is John McAdam’s Stick to Wrestling. He and a guest discuss 70s and 80s stuff, mostly. His opinions are solid, he doesn’t try to be a comedian but the show is still funny, and he’s not missed a Friday air date in the shows 3 year run. Highly recommended.

I just have to bump this thread again and thank the posters for MatyrMade. It is a fantastic podcast and I don’t think I’m exaggerating when I say it has changed my perspective on so much going on right now (by just being aware of what happened in the past).

His “Ant-Humans” episode should be required listening for students. The Israel series is absolutely amazing, and I really enjoyed the Jonestown series too. Fair warning, the series is really dark and heavy, but I can’t recommend it enough.

Just to contribute a bit to a 4 month old bump, I’ve been listening to “The Unraveling”. The first 6 episodes are good, but I’ve really enjoyed the last few where they get off Iraq. Currently on episode 12 and they have some great discussions and perspectives.

This one disappointed me considering what happened during it.

I'm not a fan when the primary subject is mentally ill.
