I had to deal with a 78 yr old woman with dementia that was from near Lake Charles that had driven all the way to Shreveport and had no idea where she was. Police got involved and her son was suppose to come get her the next day. Her son told her on the phone while we were there that she was crazy and he was taking her car from her. While I agree with taking her car, that was not the time to make her upset calling her crazy and telling her about taking the car. From what the police said, he really didn't seem to care about his Mom.
The local news up here in Shreveport put out a warning that all the eclipse glasses that Desoto Parish passed out are faulty
Texarkana is the worst I have seen around the ArkLaTex. Every corner, especially off the interstate

fractured my elbow and upper arm Sept 1, 2019. Was in arm sling for like 2 months.
I have a 2006 TJ. I would find someone that knows Jeeps to go with you to look it over. They will know the signs of a misused Jeep. Is there any warranty? Not bad on the Mileage. I only have 135k on my 2006, but I really only drive to work.

I was about to mention this. I think I saw the lasers one time. It always cracked me up every year at the I-Bowl when they would show Shreveport on Tv, the bridge lit up would be something that was a showcase for the city.

We went for 4 years in a row up till '16. We would go in late September to get the afterseason prices with Wild Bill's outfitters near Yellville. That time of the year there is hardly anyone on the river. River will be really low in spots. Like others have said, watch the weather. River floods can be very dangerous within no time. Fishing for smallmouth was great. Be prepared for cold weather. Usually they would have there first frost within days of us being there
