A lot of Instagram, including this post, can be viewed without an account.
It's really just X/Twitter that's largely walled off without an account. X lets you read people's posts without an account, but does not allow you to see the replies. You can read the replies on X without an account by using services like nitter and xcancel.
Anyway, I'm now trying to minimize my digital footprint, so I really don't use an account for anything except for Tigerdroppings since I figure this is too unprofitable of a website to be really have the infrastructure to be able to track people. I mostly just read Reddit or Instagram or YouTube in a logged out state, and use Nitter or XCancel to read Twitter. (I don't really believe that Elon is an evil Nazi like some Nitter users do, but the Twitter login restrictions are one of the most legitimately annoying things that Elon has done, and Nitter is the only way to read Twitter without an account.)

It's worth thinking about if you aren't joking. What % of comments are bots? What % of articles are AI written to make you upset? Clicks drive revenue, not fact. They just want you to click, like and subscribe, or comment to generate ad revenue. Fact is not relevant.
