Remember the ditch crossing on the old Ben Hur rd before they rerouted it? There were all kinds of beads/sorority letters hung up and folks used to say it was where a serial killer dumped some gals

Pretty sure Sean Vincent Gillis dumped a prostitutes body there. It was very close to his house.

BTW, Clay Logan lived about a block away from Sean Vincent Gillis.

I would VOTE for the one you can still watch on YouTube and people Tweet about it almost everyday...but I'm biased!

Your pops executed the most high profile justifiable killing in Baton Rouge’s history. He did what a lot of us like to think we’d do.

I vaguely remember an incident back in the early 90’s I believe where a former employee of a chicken restaurant went back and tied everyone up to rob the place, and killed the manager and maybe another employee execution style. It wasn’t a Popeyes or Churches or Mrs. Winners but I remember eating there not long before the incident happened. For the life of me I can’t remember the name of the place. It may not be considered a well-known murder but maybe as a young kid it stuck with me a little because I had been there only a few days prior. “could have been me.”

Kip Gullet’s murder. 91 or so. LSU student carjacked on campus. Tortured. Shot. Burned

93. I went to high school with him. The mother of one of the murderers brought his SUV to the levee and set it on fire to hide evidence. Kip's parents ended up on Geraldo.

That was done by a black policewoman if I recall correctly.

How can I forget about the Calendar’s murders? I went to high school with the murderer, Todd Wessinger.

Aaron Arnold...2006 Aaron Arnold was shot and killed outside the Olive Garden on Siegen Lane while helping a co-worker who had run out of gas. According to the co-worker, two black males demanded money from them. Both of the victims began to comply with the demands of the suspects when they were shot. The co-worker survived the gunshot.

Tracy Young and Sanchez Brumfield were convicted

What about the foreign exchange student at McKinley that went to the wrong house for a halloween party and the owner shot him thinking he was trying to break in or something?

This was in the 90s. I don't remember the exact details. I think it was an honest mistake that just turned tragic.. But anyone remember this?

How many LSU students have been murdered or disappeared through the years? It looks like at least 5-6 from just reading this thread.
