Yeah I have no idea what Roger is talking about.
Is he saying we are going to have another Prohibition? Because that is what killed all the local breweries before.

Everyone who drinks craft beer is going to come to their senses and go back to drinking Bud, Miller, and Coors.

Lafayette, Slidell, Shreveport, New Orleans and Baton Rouge all have indoor climbing gyms.

I say craft breweries. At some point, they will over saturate the market. The ones with the most to offer will stick around.

Can you link when the American beer industry has been down this road before? Thanks
Not necessarily craft beers, but big differentiation in product. Miller lite would be an example.

That's not what that means, stupid. It means they aren't a fad. If you are spending millions on real estate to office your c suites and are rapidly growing into tens of millions in revenue you aren't a fad.

Indoor rock climb
been around for at least 30+ years, so i'm assuming it's here to stay

craft brewery
usually tastes better than the big guys, and people love beer... definitely here to stay

Top Golf
if fun as hell... i predict it's gonna be here for a while

Escape Room
i don't even know wtf this is... so it's my choice to die first

Every craft beer tastes like shite.
Give me a good Bourbon or Scotch....

Shreveport has like 4 Escape Rooms. They are fun, but it costs like $150 for an hour (up to like 6 people).
It’s definitely the most “fad” worthy that the OP listed.

Hopefully craft beer, I’m tired of hipster telling me what to drink
Posted on 8/21/18 at 8:07 pm to Paul Allen
What’s wrong with any of these? Why do people take issue with what others hobbies like these are?
Posted on 8/21/18 at 8:08 pm to Starchild
When did I say something was wrong with any of these? Read my post again and tell me where I said something was wrong.

The craft beer circle jerk is absurd. Dude at a bar the other day said he was a “beer maven”. Lol

You need to step back, boy.

Oh look RogerTheShrubber is an expert on something else, color me shocked. So exactly how far will this consolidation go? Do you think a few craft breweries will get as big as bmc and buy everyone out? And when exactly did this happen before? Prohibition?
