2.2lbs. I adopted her and she's great. Not loud, playful and knows when it's bedtime. Minus the $1,000 I've dropped on her with vet bills, litter, etc she's great. Feel like I really saved her life.

She sounds like a sweetheart. What's her name? Can we get a photo of the cutie?

I have a similar story, but yours is better. Someone just dropped her off near the rig?

Someone was on here earlier talking about the size of a cats butt hole. I be he's an expert. Hopefully he chimes in soon.

Cats, especially ones that are hand raised by one or two people, can be extremely loyal

Ive have/had 2 that are completely up my arse 24/7. The other one was completely loyal to me and only me. Coincidentally, she was abused before I got her. Took almost 15 years for that cat to sit on my lap more than maybe once a year

Cats are extremely loyal

Just because they dont lick the spit off the floor from me or jump on me through the door doesnt mean they arent happy as hell when i walk in the door

This thread has really made my night. I’m a cat guy and always have been. I had two forever, Mickie and Sammie. Sammie has to be put to sleep a few years ago but I live Mickie to death. She’s 16. Sweetest animal I’ve ever had a super clean. Unless you’re allergic, I don’t understand how people could hate a cat. Dogs are sluts. They’ll let anyone scratch its belly or behind the ears. Lick the mailman, all that shite. You have to earn a cats trust. They’re not gonna let justs anyone come in the house and pick them up. Nope, gotta earn it first.

Whatever amigo, I hate cats for the reasons you’ve stated, and like dogs for the same. Unconditional love I think it’s called. To each his own.

Children are more disgusting. Cats continually clean themselves; leave a child unbathed for three days and see how that works out.
Cats are naturally potty trained; children shite in a diaper for three years.
Cats, being hunters, are naturally quiet animals; children will never let you sleep again.
Cats will frick up any insect or vermin that dares enter your house; children and their filth attract them.

Advantage: cat.

Automatic litter boxes with replacement trays for the win. Kinda pricey but if your pussy comes with their pussy it’s a small price to pay

indoor pets are trashy as frick.

I got a kitten but keep her outside. She is the coolest cat ever. I haven't seen a cat actively try and climb trees and almost fetch like dogs (runs to it but don't bring it back). This damn cat even climbed a tree and jumped onto the neighbors roof. I came home during lunch and saw her up there and get down.

We have a big litter box and the litter is febreeze and we never smell a thing. Clean it twice a week and no problems at all. Cat cleans himself and there’s never accidents on the floor or any of my shite getting chewed up, I love having a cat. Our old dog had separation anxiety and would piss and shite on the floor in response.

My cat a little petite 28 lb cat.
The only thing I hate is when wants to lay on me when I take naps he plops in my stomach pretty hard and my lab lays on my feet.

I give my cat a bath daily as he likes to Play in the water with my lab.

Pretty clean as he watches me clean his litter box twice a day and likes me to flatten out his littler perfectly or he meows until I do it right.

He plays hard.
Either fetch where I throw his balls and he brings them back to me, or bass froggy. I cast out a small jr size bass frog and he chases it. Sometimes he gets on top of the fridge and jumps down on the bass froggy to kill it. Lately we play drone as he chases it around the house.

Then if I get tired of squirrels in my yard I let him out and he chases them off.

Funniest time was when he was little around 20lbs a hawk tried to catch him. My cat twisted around and sat on the hawk. He grabbed his wing in his mouth ripping the bird apart. He accidentally killed it while trying to play with it. I think he is misunderstood as he is a good little 28lb petite kitty not fat like the vet suggest.

Agreed, they are gross. I don't understand how people sleep with animals in their beds.

My parents have lived in an old farm house way out in the country for 30 years. Over Christmas dinner they were talking about 2 kittens recently disappearing.

For 30 years, every single cat has disappeared. Sometimes after a few days and sometimes a couple years. The area is full of bobcats, coyotes, hawks, skunks and opossums that all kill the cats. They were just as puzzled about these kittens disappearing as the last 50 or so.

We adopted an inside cat from Petsmart a few years back. He stayed inside for a long time but after our daughter was born he moved outside. Despite being de-clawed and only 3 1/2 legs he flourishes outside. Gets along with the dogs.

It was interesting, the first few weeks outside he seemed to be trying to prove himself to us. He brought home several small dead animals like trophies. Baby squirrels, mice, lizards and birds. After awhile they stopped showing up.
