Well, yeah, one of those is a language...

I'm just kidding. I know I and U are next to each other on the keyboard so it's probably a typo.

If someone said they thought you were a Muslim would you be offended?

It was not. Lol

You’re right. HindUUU.

Sadly I use a translator phone all the time at work. Ask for Hindi quite often.

Indians on X that I’ve seen immediately showed support for Israel against Hamas. They do not like Muslims.

I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again: Trump was trying to build something special regarding US-Indian relations, then shite for brains Biden successfully undid it all in less than 2 years successfully driving India closer to China and Russia.

Imagine the US with a strong ally in India where we could move the manufacturing we don’t onshore at the direct expense of China while creating a breakwater that holds Chinese ambitions towards the rare earth metals of Africa in check.

Bulwark that with a strong ME ally in Saudi Arabia securing energy rights and moderating jihadi tendencies in the region.

Throw in Japan in Asia and Brazil in South America and you’ve created a far more stable, peaceful and profitable world for us and for them while securing the future of the petro dollar regardless of what happens with Canada and Western Europe as they backslide towards whatever glorious world without borders totalitarian future they seem hell bent on persuing.

I spent a lot of time with Indians recently in Dubai. I was thinking how they have the significant British influence, yet heavily impacted by Middle East events, while technically Asian. Soon the be the world’s biggest population.

I worked in the Middle East for a few months.
They really don’t care for dot Indians. The native workers told me they were schemers and swindlers. But I will say the natives were schemers also.

The Mughals, who were ME muslims, invaded India a few hundred years ago, and ruled the mostly Hindu population there as a minority. Some of those muslim kingdoms lasted until Indian unification in the late 1940s.

Muslims are still a minority and there’s occasional violence between the groups.

I could take or leave most of Trump’s culture war BS domestically, but you could tell what he was trying to do with those nations.

I hate to use the term but we were headed towards a world with mostly benevolent dictators (using the MSM’s words) and we probably would have been better off for it.

Some shithole countries, not so much.

Hint: "Hindu Kush" mountains means "killer of hindus".

It got its name from muslims, multiple invaders, marching them over them through the Khyber and then over the mountains as slaves and them dying in those mountains in droves.

Those mountains and Kashmir are just one big graveyard.

and probably his only real fail in foreign diplomacy. The Indians wouldn't budge, it was too little too late... too much damage had been done. To align Russia and India against China to use energy as a weapon against them would have been nice. (both India and Russia are natural enemies of China, but our overall policies have pushed them to align against us).

I left out that he had all but secured a ME peace deal which would’ve prevented the Hamas attacks and threat of war with Iran.
