Why not use a personal day or two after it if this is an issue? Enjoy the holiday if you really want to, if not find a better gig with better time off.

Today hasn't been great, but I kinda enjoyed where it fell. Tuesday felt like a Friday. Me and the wife stayed up killing beers and playing darts and shite knowing we were off. Now today feels like a Monday, but tomorrow is Friday...and that's kinda cool
