Got spooked by the boat and left what he had in its mouth. Like it knew that it was a kid in it’s mouth.
Crocks are scavengers, they eat decaying matter. If that is a kid in it’s mouth, it’s certainly blown up.

Looked like the kid wasn't in his mouth. The croc seemed to be carrying the kid on it's snout
