Personally I never saw the appeal of bars. Very, very sad.

At least three LSU students died from accidental drug overdoses in 2017 alone, according to coroner's reports and LSU records obtained by The Advocate. Two of the students — Graham Jordan and his close friend — were members of the now-shuttered Delta Kappa Epsilon fraternity.

Eight LSU students have died from accidental drug overdoses since the beginning of 2015. Several others fatally overdosed not long after withdrawing from school and were identified as students in their obituaries, according to an Advocate analysis of public records.

Police reports show that Graham Jordan was out at Bogie's, a popular LSU bar on East Boyd Drive near campus. His friend told police he seemed intoxicated but did not appear to have had too much to drink.
The two later returned to Graham's dorm around 2 a.m. and he went into the bathroom for several minutes. When he came out, he was "acting strange and swaying" but his companion assumed it was from drinking, according to police reports.
About five hours later, the friend woke up and noticed something was wrong. That's when Graham's roommates called 911 and tried unsuccessfully to revive him.
Autopsy results and police reports show he had ingested Xanax along with a lethal dose of fentanyl — the powerful synthetic painkiller that has ravaged communities across the United States during the nation's ongoing opioid crisis.
Personally I never saw the appeal of bars. Very, very sad.

I think it was the drugs that killed him...

Bars are cool. But it was probably the synthetic fentanyl that killed him if I had to guess

Not surprising at all considering the use of fentanyl has gone up.

That's really not many people. More people die of hemorrhoids.

You're right. It was definitely the bar that caused him to die. Nothing to do with the combo of

Xanax along with a lethal dose of fentanyl
which he took at his dorm...

Fentanyl is the scariest thing I have seen. Heroin and morphine got nothing on it.

People die from that?

This might be mind blowing to some but there’s a REALLY simple solution to this...
Stop. Doing. Drugs.
Stop. Doing. Drugs.

Do ya thang, fentanyl.

So.. these aren't poor unfortunate who got inadvertently hooked after surgery.
Posted on 6/24/19 at 12:07 am to GreatLakesTiger24
bars were everywhere when I was at LSU thankfully that fentanyl shite wasn’t going around yet

These kids were going to college and presumably had a future. This wasn't Cletus on disability swallowing pills to dull the pain of his dead end existence. The evidence of what this shite does to you is all around, they can see it with their own eyes, and they do it anyway.

That’s a lot of optometrists.

Car accidents, heart disease, diabetes, and hemorrhoids in that order.

He went to a bar and got drunk. Then railed a bar that was laced. Or he railed the laced bar then went to the bar. Either way, same result.
It’s okay to admit that you didn’t understand what OP was saying.
