New Orleans East? Where Pat Swilling had a huge spread when he played for the Saints. Are am I thinking of someplace else?

A good number of Hornets lived in English Turn in Algiers when the practice facility was on the West Bank. Mike Dikta, and decent number of Saints over the year, lived there.

Drew did or does live on Audubon St. unless he was able to buy into the Place recently.
that sale never went through i dont think. He's still on Audubon Street. But as others have said, most players live in Metairie or the CBD. I think Colston lived in Destrehan. Very few live uptown.

A few in my building in WHD. Along with some well known actors/actresses

Agree.
He did and add on 5 or so years ago too, so he's probably set unless his wife wants to be closer to a new exercise place.

Drew Brees lives in the old folks home

Never was a money issue. Just didn't think theyd relocate across the avenue, but four kids will force the move.

I also heard he bought an entire wing of the Lambeth house. Unless his Medicare is paying for it.

I remember that he was having issues with privacy after the super bowl win. He was just on a regular street and people were always coming by leaving stuff and looking for him.

They are scattered all over the place.
AD lives in a gated small hood off Airline in Metarie kind behind the country club. My friends live a few doors down from him.
Some are in English Turn, some are in Chateau Estates. Used to be a few out in Ormond, but I can't imagine that being the case these days.
I think Drew is in Audabon Place.
The younger guys without families probably live in condos in the Warehouse District as someone else already pointed out.
The OT thinks that Nola is 90% projects and welfare queens so I know it may be shocking to some that there are lots of great areas of Nola.
There are some nice spots in the city, but 90% of the city really is crappy. That's probably not an exaggeration.

That's something you learn to deal with and was to be expected. I think most neighbors all acknowledged him as just a neighbor. You just ran into issues since it's not a gated street.

you can get to Old Metairie from Tulane in under 10 minutes. English Turn is far more distant even if it's technically Orleans Parish.

Most are renting downtown because of proximity and it was safest. Had a few that lived in my old condo.

I was responding to this statement:

My dad was a Kenner mailman. Over the years he's told me he dlievered to Ingram, Duece (who he said was always friendly), Lil Wayne (though the house was empty), Tyreke Evans, Byron Scott, Trevor Ariza, Eric Gordon I know there's more but I can't remember them all. Most were in Chateau or Place Pontchatrain, or St. Gabriel

They moved to Mandeville like everyone else.

A ton lived in Ashton plantation.
Right along side the 310 bridge. None of the ones I knew at the time still play for the saints though. Skyler green, Marcus colston, Tracy porter etc.

that gated subdivision off of St. Charles near Tulane.
Tom Benson is the only New Orleans Saint actually IN Audubon Place.
It was long rumored that Brees was looking to buy there, but I think he's settled in to his current pad for now.

I saw Fujita walking his dog a lot around Lucy's. Maybe he lived in warehouse district?
