It’s so you can feel better about being the POS you are. And hopefully get some “aww shucks man you are just a man who makes mistake, it’s ok you fricked up” posts. I wanna know more about how this impacts his job?

Was he dumb enough to mess around with someone he worked with? Is the friend a wife of his boss?

Did the wife go apeshit on her friend when she found out? What did the other husband do?

The poor wife if this isn’t some weird troll job of the OP. Betrayed by two people close to her.

Is this basically like what happened between Bill Murray and Scarlett Johansson's characters in "Lost in Translation" if it was set in some Louisiana suburb instead of Tokyo?

Two of the most dangerous statements a person can make are "it won't happen to me" & " I'd never do that."

Many times in my life I found myself doing things I swore I'd never do. Pride comes before the fall.

Yeah but I think some people may be unable to differentiate, especially initially. I think he’s actually gotten some great advice about just how long this road is going to be to get to a manageable conclusion.

I don't buy any of that. I am thinking you were busted and someone threatened to rat on you if you didn't come clean.

I’ve straight up told my wife if she ever cheats on me and it was a one off mistake type thing, don’t tell me. I don’t want to know and don’t want to have to deal with it. Only tell me if it’s recurring or on-going.

Everyone’s different and that’s just my opinion.

Once the other couple splits because of this......then at least now you can get the sex from the good friend to console each other. Dude.....how do you screw up your marriage and family and not even get the strange pussy?

I'm going to need you to come back and tell us how exactly you were "cheating." And, no, I don't believe you and other cheater weren't fricking.

Sorry, does your wife need threats of consequences to not cheat on you?

Do you need threats of consequences to not cheat?
