I would defend my family and wouldn’t be the last one standing.

A lot of people will die due to lack of meds withing the first 3 months. If you are on any type of reoccurring persrciption meds, you're dead.

Yea, this is a major problem.

Millions of people will die when they run out of their medicines.

Hell, there are ~8 million Americans who require insulin to manage their diabetes.

This is like asking if you want to survive a nuke. I'll drive straight to ground zero. Why prolong the inevitable?

That's really the "thing" with zombie movies. The overwhelming sense of hopelessness. Either the zombie kills you or man himself and honestly, who is the true monster...

Yep they are dead. But here is the future problem. Production of Antiboitcs would be gone inside of a year. If you have ever needed antibotics in your life, that was when you were suppose to die. So the population of the planet would be much much less.

Truth.

We would return to far harsher management.

Infected wound on the foot?

Amputate.

Old remedies for symptomatic management.

There would be excessive deaths over the first few years.

We'd fight, and kill. Then use the front end loader on our tractor to take the bodies down and dump them in the river and let Knoxville figure out what to do with them.

I only have enough for about a week at the walking dead rate of fire. Probably stand a better chance getting out of the city.

To be fair, the majority of those 8 million weren’t going to survive long in a zombie apocalypse anyways.

Even as old and disabled as I am, I would fight until I ran out of ammo.
