Oh y’all can all get the frick over yourselves. Is it sad for family members who lose loved ones to addiction? Sure. Is it good for society to have addicts off the streets, driving impaired, turning trucks and stealing and doing whatever it takes to get their next fix? I think yes.

FTR I hope whoever has an addictions gets help before it comes to this

If people are gonna kill other people with drugs, big pharma better get their cut. I don't know if Ron and Nancy saw it turning out this way in the 80's.

I know someone that gets a Xanax prescription from a cardiologist, I’ve also watched a commercial for a major pain treatment center on the north shore that flat out says they don’t use narcotics which is a flat out lie.

Yeah I used to think that way too. Theoretically. Anecdotally. The beauty of thinking that way is it allows you to affect an air of moral superiority. frick those loser junkies. Screw em. And then you see someone you love go from normal to dead in a year and you see the wreckage they leave behind and you have another perspective.

But hey, who am I to argue with a guy who is untouchable. I wish I was.

I guarantee if weed were legal and easy to get for the average person, there would be MUCH less people getting addicted to the more harmful substances like opioids and alcohol.

Classic big pharma vs legalize it crowd. Like we wont have a "big pharma" of whatever is legalized keeping people hooked.

Just get it fixed instead of legalizing the issue
