He absolutely will still pay SS taxes. But without a SS number he won't be able to collect the benefits.
I wonder if anyone has ever tried this tactic to avoid paying income taxes.

Your kid is going to be such a fricking weirdo if this is the shite he’s got to deal with from you just to get simple things in life.

Could one just opt out of the SS system? OP could do this instead of using your kid as a pawn.
And I’m pretty confident you have brainwashed him to believe he should not get one.

Don’t be a pussy. Your son will need get get a SS# to survive in the real world.

Why doesn't he have a Social security number? If he want's to get one, he's perfectly free to do so. I'm not signing my son up for a federal investment program that offers horrible returns that he can't opt out of, ever. If he wants to do this, he's more than capable as an adult.
Do you plan on him ever having a job?

I think you can if you are clergy.

Isn’t a SSN needed for a job for tax purposes? You’re making your son’s life complicated just to make a point he didn’t ask you to make. I mean yea the dmv is shite but this is dumb.
Don’t most colleges require SS numbers during application?

You may see this as pointless and futile. That's ok. I see it as an obligation as an American to preserve the rights we were given, no matter how small and pointless folks like yourself may think that is.

I feel this is one path to how people eventually claim to be Sovereign Citizens.

Keep us posted this very interesting and kinda smart, I guess. Maybe alot of headache as well. But having a job etc without one would and will be a pain in the arse for him.

Do you have insurance on your son? Is he the beneficiary of any kind of insurance policy of yours? Is he ever going to have a job? A bank account? Buy a house?
Are you one of those sovereign citizen people?
I’m all for pushing back on the government bullshite but I’m not hamstringing my kid over it.

If you HAVE a social security number you HAVE to disclose it. That said, if you don't have one, this doesn't apply to you.

there is no requirement or law for anyone, anywhere to sign up for social security
But don't you think it would make his life easier if he had one ?
Like:
Getting a learners permit
Applying for jobs or college, they run your credit and criminal history using it.
Or filling Taxes etc

has the DMV stated in writing that he is denied?or just dragging it out?looks like you have a case.

They have outright denied him twice.
It is their policy to deny this and it’s against both state and federal law. DMV Policy 41.00
Oh and yes, I have their denial in writing.

Does this have anything to do with you not wanting your son registered with selective service?
How would you have prospered in life without a SS#?
