That sounds like plenty enough to worry about as is.

All those steps? I don't see how this could go wrong. Sometimes it's just easier to import. Like a shirt or coffee maker.

I am surprised there is not a clean source out there. It would save a lot of lives. I believe the cartels are beginning to enforce no fentanyl but no way the street dealer does

The basic process to produce coke is to chop up the coca leaves, spread some cement powder on them, splash some sulfuric acid mixed with water on the leaves, marinate the leaves in gasoline, filter out the leaves, use battery acid to separate the watery coke substance from the gasoline, add baking soda, strain and boil out the water, spread the coke paste out to dry, break up the coke paste into a powder.

Now why did you have to go and ruin coke for me?

A few years ago I heard of one such operation in rural Southern Colorado. But not sure if this guy was full of shite.

Who was the motherfricker that figured this process out, and how??? Is there another product made using a similar process and someone said, “I bet if I applied that same process, but with coca leaves, I might have something.”

I'm surprised there's not more of this to try to put a clean, safe produce out with so much coke being laced now.

What’s stopping the buyer cutting it and reselling at a profit? It’s all clean at some point

The processes used for making homemade meth are even more arcane/dangerous.

People knew for centuries about the powers of the coca plant, but I think it was European chemists in the 1850s that discovered how to turn it into a drug, I'm not sure how long the current ingredients have been used to produce it.

Start experimenting with tobacco leaves.

It’s my understanding it was originally created and used as a local anesthetic and the stimulant aspect was just a magnificent side effect.

you would only need 100 square miles of land to grow coca and be able to satisfy the US demand for coke

You are aware that is 64,000 acres? Be kinda hard to hide a spread that size.

My wife is a hospital pharmacist and they have liquid cocaine in their inventory for certain procedures. I feel certain their cocaine isn’t made like the process described.

I find it easier to just hire a pilot and smuggle mine in. I usually do it through Miami while wearing a white leisure suit and sweet glasses while jamming to Black Betty.

You're surprised someone isnt' trying to grow a cocaine farm in America full of illegal trees, then try to produce the illegal product cocaine, in America?

The possible outcomes are be murdered by a cartel that finds out you are cutting into their revenue, or get caught by the gov't and get thrown in jail for the rest of your life.
