I have 2 Tesla's that i purchased in 2025. I don't have a problem paying the fee and think it is more than fair. What i do have a problem with is the difficulty in paying the fee.

Either you file the forms with your taxes and pay (I use turbotax and file electronically so that is out of the question bc you have to then mail your state taxes.)

Go to expresslane.org to pay, which my vehicle info can't be found to do so.

Or finally do it at the LaTap website which is near impossible to navigate to find how to file and pay.

This is very frustrating to say the least....

Mine was in the garage for at least 10 years. Kept a heat stick in it running 24/7. Oiled the guns once a year, never really had any problems to speak about.

re: French Polynesia honeymoon help

We went and in 2005 for our honeymoon. I think we stayed 2 nights at the Intercontinental Tahiti Resort in Papeete. The Hotel was nice but the island is mediocre.

Then we took a short flight to Mo'orea and stayed 4-5 nights at the Pearl Resort now called Manava Beach Resort and Spa. This resort was very nice. The island is very nice with lots to offer. One day we rented a moped and toured the island ourselves, one day we did "swim with the dolphins", one day we did a four wheeler excursion and then a Polynisian Dinner and show.

Both resorts we stayed in over water bungalows and loved them. We did not have all inclusive, so food and drinks were very expensive on the island.

I want to say that we probably spent $8-10k 21 years ago. I would think it is about double that now...
I looked at and did extensive research on Bed Jet, Sleep Number (bc thats the bed I have), 8 Sleep and Perfectly Snug.

We ended up going with perfectly snug and have absolutely zero regrets. It is amazing.

My wife had a knockoff cooling pad that water had to be added to and that thing was ok but a pita to deal with adding water etc., so that knocked out the eight sleep. I didn't think we would like the fan blowing at our feet so that knocked out the bed jet. The sleep number had power fan to put under or onside the bed for its topper and i didn't care for that. So we chose Perfectly Snug.
I just redid my whole home (2,900 sqft) in october. Removed tile, glued down engineered wood floor and 3 bedrooms of carpet. Installed LVP in whole house. $25k. It took the flooring company 5 days in total. They leveled every square foot of our slab and used a thick vapor barrier. We went with MarketPlace XL that has a 28 mil wear surface and the planks are 8.5mm thick. We love the flooring.
I personally have a Unifi Dream Machine SE with 8 cameras and 3 access points. I would do the same again if i were building. The UDMSE has a hard drive for the cameras and can control everything from one platform, home or remotely.

My treated wood ones lasted 2-3 years. Rebuilt a few years back with metal. Much better. They are open bottom and i used steel banding to keep the bottoms from bowing out with the weight of the soil.
I do mine with liquid bleach. A couple cups should be fine. Once i put the bleach in, i run all the faucets till i smell bleach and turn them off for a few hours. After that i run the water till i don't smell bleach anymore.

I have a 13 year old briggs 20 kw on my home. Zero problems with the generator. The way i look at it is that that vanguard motor has been around a long time. Its on practically every mud boat in the country.

I used to do that with that exact hitch. Just make sure the rear bumper is strong enough.

Never had an issue...

re: Any RAM 2500 drivers?

Posted by PHNBK on 7/9/25 at 12:17 pm to
I had a 2020 F250 and all previous F250's were ford diesel. I switched brands and now am in a 2022 Ram 2500 diesel.

IMO the Ram pulls better, rides better (has coil springs in the rear not leaf springs) and is quieter in the cab. Ford is faster if your into racing and has a bit better turning radius.

I am very happy with the ram which now has 80,000 miles. Also I average 19.5 mpg when not towing. Mine is a Laramie night edition regular crew cab.

Hope that helps.
We refurbished that back in 2009. 1st time that it was de-watered in like 45 years or so. Corps of Engineers refurbished the gates and seals and we repaired and resealed all the joints. Crews worked 24 hrs a day for 30 days straight to get it done.

I had glass guru do one i had to have repaired. I think they had the cartridge made in New Orleans. Took a few days to get the replacement in.

Kinda funny this topic came up this morning. As i sat at a light on college this morning i noticed that there were 5 busses almost in line at the same light heading north. Just behind them was one going about 60 on college trying to beat the light and was definitely being driven by a woman.
