That never stopped countless idiots from growing marijuana fields (back when it was illegal in every state).

The real answer, I believe, is that the coca plant is very finicky to grow and requires an equatorial mountain climate and specific soil conditions. That's why it only grows in very specific places. Of course that has been true of other plants and vegetables and we have "engineered" them to grow elsewhere. 500 years ago nobody outside of certain Peruvian villages had ever seen a tomato or potato. Now they are global food staples. I suppose science could do something similar with cocaine.

According to the US Government this process and its end product hold more medicinal and societal value than a cannabis plant.

I got a greenhouse. But that's a whole different op and not sure that juice is worth the squeeze. But I like the idea. I think you'll need a actually f-ton of leaves to make it happen.
