I'm starting to get aggravated with petty stuff during this quarantine

I guess it's since I'm alone and not aggravated with people. I'm finding things to be a boomer about.
There's a few cardinals (the birds, not the inquisition) that have taken to fighting their reflection in the sideview mirrors of my truck. They slobber all over it and screw up my view when driving. Ive been having to wipe them every morning before I leave for work. I tried folding the mirrors in and they started fighting their reflection in the window. They perch on the bottom of the window and shite down the side of the door.
I'm losing sleep over this. Today I put a chair out and sat next to one side with a few beers. The damn things started fighting their reflection on the opposite side of the truck. I thought of tying one of my dogs to each side but that's mean to the dogs. Parking inside isnt an option right now.
Eta: meant to post on the outside board.

Thoughts and prayers and all. That is some heavy stuff you are dealing with.

Not me!!!!!
I'm loving the no traffic to speak of and no school zones.
Gotta make lemonade if you're dealt lemons.

Try a rubber snake on the side mirror

That's interesting,I've never heard of this.
But I don't see many cardinals where I live.
Place a fake owl on the truck and see what happens.

Our chauffeur has to park his own car outside the garage as well.
Sorry for your situation.

I have two pair of cardinals — I thought when the first one got anmate he’d quit banging against the window. Now I’ve got many banging against the window. How they aren’t dead I have no idea.

That’s pretty awesome. I’d love to see a video of that.

A pair of cardinals just showed up in the yard and under the carport here this week. They sometimes perch on the mirror but haven't begun to fight their reflections yet. I am glad to see them, haven't seen a lot of cardinals here or at my home in years, this is welcome as this place was crawling with cardinals when I was growing up.

We have a pair of cardinals in our yard that just eat the seed out of the feeder
