Universities especially have no ability to manage due process.
What surprises me about the system that has been evolving is that a guy accused of rape hasn't acknowledged the sexual contact but accused his accuser of the exact same. If you aren't taken seriously then claim a title IX violation and take the university to court for that as well.
All of this nonsense has rendered less believable or preventable real sexual assaults. Regretting sex is not being raped (whether you are a man or a woman, and plenty of men have regretted a woman they slept with after the fact).

Smarter guys has adopted a new strategy:
Step 1: Go to a school near another university with women you'd like to date.
Step 2: Only date women from that school. Never women from your own college/university.
Why does this work? Because it places you only under the regulation of the law. Universities do not have the ability to process you in a title IX kangaroo court if you are not dating in your own school.
