Puerto Rico was awesome for a "cheap" island getaway vacation. We wnt to a secluded resort on the southwest part of the island just west of Ponce.

That place alone is keeping Church's Chicken and Burger King afloat. There seemed to be one of the two on every other corner.

There's no local cuisine to speak of. The best place I ate at was a gas station Subway. I got their version of a steak and cheese. They actually cut up and pan fried the steak with all the veggies right in front of us! It was the best Subway (or fast food sub) I ever had.

Your kind of like that Puerto Rican dude I saw sitting in a Popeye’s in the Quarter talking on Facebook live how great life is in NOLA?

With all due respect, this is about as ignorant of a statement as I’ve read on the OT.

Friday was payday so as an OT poor I’m having a “trashy day” (snickers ice cream bar and a tall can of Modelo) on my porch.

I like your day better.

But are you wearing a Cubavarra shirt and a Panama hat? If not... just a sad poseur.

...and let me guess...you've posted pictures of it your Facebook, Instagram, on multiple group chats, reddit and TD and have spent most of the evening checking to see how many likes and comments you have.

Enjoy the drink and cigar and put the phone down baw

Congratulations on writing the worst paragraph in the history of TD. Just the amount of stupidity is unbelievable. Puerto Rican food is one of the most underrated cuisines around.
