I’ve taken three shits this year on the side of the road behind my truck door. Humbling feeling.

I’ve battled IBS for years, and I’ve never had to shite behind the door of my truck. I won’t lie, I have some TP in the back seat just in case. But dude…if you’re in a city, find a hotel or restaurant. If you are on the road, there’s plenty of travel stops that are clean enough.

Went to Home Depot and there was dozens of cans paint on the shelf.

Went to HD yesterday, used self checkout, no issue.

Went to same HD today, had cashiers “assisting” at self checkout, told by employee they were told today to not let people checkout by themselves.

Meanwhile, all the actual normal checkout lanes were closed.

What would take you 1 minute to get at an ACE Hardware can take 45 at Home Depot.

The ACE by my house is open 8-5 M-F and 9-3 on Sat. Closed Sunday.

That doesn’t work for many people.

What’s funny is it further drives me to Amazon. Go into Target to buy headphones, case is locked, immediately place order on Amazon.

You go all the way to the store, see the headphones in a case then order from Amazon and drive back home without said headphones?

Is that quicker than just having a dude take the 2 minutes to open the case?

What pisses me off is gas stations in most city areas now have Out of Order signs and lock the bathroom knowing they work just fine. They have to do this to keep the catered to homeless and drug addicts from destroying them tho.

I’ve thought about making a map type of app that marks all these gas stations that do this shite or they won’t let you use the bathroom at all.

Why not just avoid giant corporate chain stores that lock stuff up?

Maybe it is time for hardware stores with expensive inventory to assign you a worker and escort you around the store finding what you need.

There was a store in Houma like this, Davidson Hardware. Sadly, Ida damaged the store and they never reopened.

Everything was in bins or sometimes scattered throughout the store, you needed an experienced worker to navigate the store for you otherwise you would be lost.

My ulta points have been much higher because I get a lot more everyday stuff from there instead of Walmart. Nobody ever has a key

I was in Tokyo this year. People don’t even lock their bicycles up when they leave them on the sidewalk.

Want to know what they are missing?

The same thing we're missing here? And Maine? And Vermont? And New Hampshire? And all the other lowest-crime states?

It's almost like there's a pattern, but I can't quite put my finger on it...

Incarcerate them for long periods of time. I guarantee petty theft drops dramatically.

Want to go steal some shite from Walgreens? That'll be five years in prison.

Cubbies will be along shortly to tell you that you're a typical brutal member of the white male patriarchy.

Nothing is worse than clinching until the last minute and damming up a wet turd just to see an ‘Out of Order’ sign on the bathroom door. I’ve taken three shits this year on the side of the road behind my truck door. Humbling feeling.

It does beg the question: do you REALLY want to sit on those toilets?

The Aldi on seigen did away with their self checkout after less than 60 days open.

One big issue is we don’t have enough prisons or cell capacity. Especially in big cities.
