And the final message of the commercial tells your black customers to “do better”. Would you greenlight that ad?
Yeah. Maybe they'll get their act together.

You've already contributed.

Right. You virtue signal, then spend 50 pages here trying to explain why you don't really care.
It's obvious you do, a hell of a lot.

It's a standing offer

Oh, don’t get me wrong, I love grilled corn on the cob.
But if the only meat you have is some weak arse pink hot dog bullshite then you need to talk your dick between your legs and wear a wig.
You wanna barbecue, you better bring some real meat.

Right.
Indeed. There are two things I'm willing to have a serious discussion about. This nonsense isn't one of them.

There's definitely a black father joke here
You should start the outrage about a lack of black actors used in the ads.
ETA - it really would be quite enjoyable to see Gillette get shite for not using enough diversity in their toxic masculinity.
I didn't see any trannys either.

We dont need a commercial saying "dont light babies on fire" either
But theoretically... if so many women have stories of being groped, creeped on, yelled at for saying no, etc. (and I've never met a woman who has never had any of this happen to her.. some just don't care), it seems like more than just the "people who light babies on fire" are doing this stuff, no?
I mean, we aren't just coincidentally ALL coming across the 1% of weirdos.
I know that if I was a man, my arse would be like "YEP. THERE'S PLENTY CREEPS OUT THERE AND THEY SUCK." and distance myself from it. Every man for himself.

The Second Amendment and property taxes. We probably agree too much on both to have a lengthy discussion.

Yet here you are, again...claiming you don't care, but caring

I've actually done that same combo before at the pool.
Now if I have people over for a backyard meal, it's gonna be nicer.

Do you know that yet?
DB doesn’t care!
Why don’t you know that already?!

Incorrect. I haven't even bothered commenting on the ad.

You take him far too seriously. Just relax. It'll be okay.

Which is funny because there is definitely some actual toxic masculinity in that community

I'm just replying to some people. These reactions are why I'm here, obviously.

So your 30 blade twenty dollar razor doesn't sell anymore because nancy boys & hipsters get their razors (if they even use them) from mail order hipster companies. You obviously can't make a 37 blade razor and sell it.
How else do you recover sales but by soapbox ("think of the children") virtue signaling to the customer base that left you behind?
I think I stopped using their overpriced junk in the early -00's. If I still used them, they'd be done as of the premier of this commercial, just like Nike and the NFL.

this could be opening Pandora's box(pun if chuckled, no pun if offended,) but, after you stop hanging around Bogie's or Fed's or whatever and move on with your life, isn't kind of on the individual to not put themselves in certain "high threat" environments?

This is just what Roger does. I don't know when it happened, but something switched in his brain. Now he follows me around, whining about my DGAF attitude towards things that are clearly important to him.
It's weird.
