This news blew up at 4:20 about OHIO restaurants being closed.
Ohio -Gov. Mike DeWine announced that all Ohio bars and restaurants are being ordered to close -- except for carryout and delivery -- at 9 p.m. Sunday.
“What we can’t have is people congregating, and people who are sitting," he said. “So carryout is fine. And delivery is fine.”

So it’s not ok to sit & eat your food but it’s ok to stand in line to pick it up & eat at home?
Makes sense

I think a lot of it is about the ability of staff to stock shelves. In Ohio, most stores appear to have gone to the same hours(7am-10pm) so they have time to adequately stock shelves.
Toilet paper is gone at every store I’ve gone to though. I have enough to last a while, but I’d still like at least another pack to feel secure

Went back to Walmart today and it was kind of reassuring. There was no panic like on Friday, some empty shelves but people were acting normally and there were no lines. Friday was crazy, long lines and people being antsy, but it was nothing like that today.

Exactly, so instead of having a full dining room, we will have a full lobby of people waiting for their carry out.
I'm telling you this is the biggest mess ever, my BS meter is off the charts.
The Libs are trying to destroy free markets and Trump, and I don't even like Trump, it's all starting to come into picture.

Went to Kroger near my house today. Little to no milk left but they were unlodading some while I was there so I got lucky with that. No toilet paper, paper towels, canned goods. A few other selected items sold out (Cheerios, stick butter, Oikos yogurt, Shiner Light Blonde, etc.). Otherwise no big deal. Plenty of frozen foods, produce, beer, wine, other necessities. All in all a successful trip.

Last time I checked, Gov Dewine was a republican.

Went to Food City tonight. A new store that is quite large. It was wiped out.
We just wanted a few things. There was no chicken, very little beef. Not a single pack of hamburger meat.
Lots of fruit and fresh produce except for potatoes.
No bread. Bread rack was bare. Plenty of milk and dairy products. Eggs were half wiped out.

I was in Academy sports today. The gun line was 20 people strong on a Sunday afternoon.

There was a guy, I think, in a hazmat suit at Wally World yesterday.
If you rent more than four times a year, it just makes sense to buy. Do you not own a haz mat suit?

I saw a fight at Publix today in Tampa. Not over a shortage issue, but over some a-hole picking up and putting down every god damn potato till he found his crown jewell. Lady called him out for it and he almost came to blows with her husband. It's tense out there.

Wild idea here, but maybe, just maybe, the store could get your phone number and have you wait in your car until your food is ready. Or they could even bring it out.

H-E-B in North Woodlands was bare for meats, bread, milk, eggs and paper products tonight.

Every Walmart, Albertson's, Market Basket here is out of TP and most of the perishable meats. It's nuts. I have noticed in the past couple of days that facial tissues and paper towels have shown up on the shelves again but as for actual TP, nope.
The meat departments are almost completely wiped out as is the bread aisle. Gallons of drinking water are gone. Even distilled water is gone.
People need to quit hoarding everything. It's selfish and unnecessary. There are limits on items at a couple stores here which is good to see since people can't use common sense and think of what they need now and what others may need.
Be proactive. Get an extra package of toilet paper. Get an extra package of water. Maybe an extra package of pork chops or steak, ground beef, chicken, whatever. Let the deliveries get to the stores so they can restock and it'll be like it usually is at the grocery store. Stagger your trips.
To completely wipe out everything is beyond ridiculous. Hope these people have a huge freezer otherwise it'll spoil and you just set fire to over $200 in perishable foods.
Great job.
