Besides very rural towns people are complete liars saying it’s “100% back to normal”

Even in those rural towns it’s still not normal because you actually do see some people still masking up like Beijing

This is my experience. In Lafayette, people wear masks at the grocery stores I frequent, and at church. Not so much in restaurants.

When I go visit family in Vermilion parish, I don’t see many masks at all.

I’m at the Pierre Part store at least twice a month, and it doesn’t even feel normal there

They have never required masks the entire time, but still about 25% of people wear one

And speaking of Texas, Dallas places are still mask Nazis. Houston is better but still a lot of places requiring them

C'mon man - you really think wearing a mask protects the wearer??? Because it does not. I will grant you it provides a minimal amount of protection to others and spreading to them if you have the Covid, that is - if you wear the correct type of mask and if you wear it properly then yes, but I stress minimal - so if there is a reason you feel obliged to wear one that is a reason.

But please do not continue to dupe yourself into believing wearing one protects you in the slightest, in fact an argument can be made it puts you at more risk.

I mean think about it...if your mask blocks the particles, you are constantly touching the mask with your hands then touching everything around you, touching your own face, your clothes, bringing the mask with you everywhere you go, the car, etc and spreading it everywhere with everything you touch. Let's please not keep feeding into this myth that wearing a mask protects the wearer in any way.

Sorry it doesn’t fit your false narrative but it’s true.

Last week in a given day I went to the gym, dry cleaners, gas station, grocery and bar. Didn’t have a mask for any of it. Only place I saw other with a mask was grocery and that was hit or miss. Don’t recall a sign asking for masks anywhere.

That was in the Houston Heights.

Don’t have a narrative. Texas is far from normal in the big cities. Houston is about 50/50 on whether or not the place will ask for a mask, and Dallas is worse than that still

Lynxcat and others who work in the city can chime in if they want

Here is a list for all the Houston business still requiring masks. It’s 762 entities, a lot with multiple locations

Funny I see you wearing a mask from the exact opposite point of view. You wear a mask because the media scared you into wearing one! So you do you boo boo and wear a mask. That’s how it should have been the entire time! If you’re scared, stay home or wear a mask. Sissy

Wow, you are so brave! So caring. So thoughtful of others. You care about science. You are just an all around great person.

Is that what you're fishing for?

so you went to 2 bars and a rural gas station that didn't require masks?

I guarantee I could have the exact same experience in Louisiana

And yet you made special effort to post in this thread to 1) chastise someone else for not wearing a mask, and 2)virtue signal about your own mask wearing.

Congrats, please award yourself extra virtue points.

Ruston is the most "normal" place I have been this entire time

Moreso than Pierre Part and Morgan City

Some of those on the list have 20 plus locations throughout the Houston area

It’s an absolute lie for someone to say they have gone to Houston or Dallas and everything felt normal. Especially Dallas, that place damn near should be Austin with their mask shite

No, it's not. It's a stupid list compiled by some stupid person (you?) and certainly isn't all encompassing. It's only companies that have been submitted to the stupid list. There's nothing "all" about it.
