WTF? So even if they had to get rid of a few, there was no way someone could care for them or give them to other departments that need dogs? I hate when government thinks people are stupid (well, I guess people are stupid, but...).

I call bs on this one. I would find it hard to believe that they kill all their dogs after they retire them.
