Sadly this has been going on a while, My brother in law used to work for the sheriff's office at the local county jail.
I remember him telling me of a guy who was in their jail waiting to be deported by ice, He had a murder charge going to trial but was deported instead. Less then a year later he was back in the same jail charged with another murder charge. He went to trial the second time and was convicted.

What I don't understand about this is.. why the frick would someone go over there if this man is shooting off a gun and ask him to quiet it down. Why not call the police? I bet it is because they are illegal as well. It's sad all around.

Most likely the case or maybe yet another case of people living in certain areas being loathe to call the police because doing so all too often winds up with the police acting a damned fool either at the house of the person the police were called about or the person who made the call. Once they respond the police are apt to acting a fool somewhere with someone in the process...doesn't matter who the caller or the callee is someone is going to jail or getting the shite kicked out of them or some other ill mannered shite...
