There are a lot of normal people in that area outside of the major metros.
To be fair, there are tons of normal people in the metro areas too. Most of the shite posted here about the PNW are about Seattle and Portland proper.

That said, I just "fled" from there to the middle of the desert, so I'm only going to defend it so hard.

I’ve considered Cheyenne, WY. Want to go visit and see what it’s like.

May I ask why Cheyenne exactly?
Their are much better towns there and the weather sucks—always windy and the altitude keeps it cold even in the summer. Hell, if we are going back to our 20’s like OP said, go 30 miles over to Laramie for the college girls. Otherwise, I really like the area around Sheridan or Cody for the outdoors opportunities.

Montana

I wish I would have come here 15 years ago. Not only for the experience, but for the abominably low real estate prices.

Arizona? I just think some people's ideas about the area are from YouTube antifa videos. The only negative to me would be real estate costs but I'd be fine living well outside of any major metros. That would actually be my preference.

Idaho is my dream state.

Just got back from Maine and it’s pretty awesome. It’s a D state though. Idaho is red.

In what country are white males the most attractive to women? Probably somewhere in SE Asia. Anyone have an answer?

Yea Wyoming and Montana are great and all, but when I was in my twenties I was chasing tail and trying to score strange on the reg. Both of those states are sparsely populated and not near enough hot pussy for the 20 year old me.

Literally any of the resort towns are crawling with pussy, whether it's from workers or tourists. If you're not in a "city" or one of those, you're right, though.

I loved it but the last two years got to me. High COL, bad weather, homelessness, and crime are all issues I can put up with one at a time. Getting hit with all four for two years straight just broke me down.

eta- I'm referring to the metro areas obviosly.

If I don’t have to have a set work schedule, probably coastal Italy or island Greece. That climate really agrees with me, and there’s some cheap property to be found.

I think I'd like living outside of some mid sized college town up there although I haven't been in the area since the late 90s. I could never see a 107 heat index again in my life and be just fine with it

Condo in a city like Austin or Nashville that hasn’t gone completely 3rd world and has a decent young demographic.
