In some jurisdictions, the public defenders are very good.

I wish you would get the death penalty then they realize you are not worth paying for the chemicals they would inject in you and decide to simply go with a bullet.

When me and my buddy got rung up on some bullshite I got a PD and he had a family member represent him. Was pleased initially but then the PD largely crumbled under pressure in the courtroom, and I ended up going with the cousin of my co-defendant as well.

We both got out of it, so wouldn't put much stock in a PD.

When my cousin got arrested his public defender was only 20 years old. Dude said his dad was a lawyer though
