This happened to my wife a few years ago except it was one cat and she was doing errands around town. She was about their size and we had to bottle feed her for a while. She's still distrustful of others but loves the two of us and our son who was born after we rescued her. Sleeps in our bed every night like a guard dog. Best cat I've ever had.

A worthless POS dumped a tiny kitten on the highway in front of my house. Little guy wasn't even weaned yet. With advice from posters on the OT, I learned to make his formula and feed him with a medicine dropper. He is now a year old and is very healthy and happy. Name is Baw.

That’s funny as hell and incredibly sad at the same time.

Yeah those seem friendly. I would bring them to Spaymart. They would get adopted out.

If a cat gets hit by a car, that is a defective cat.

Damn thing just doesn't know how to cat.

Dogs usually get hit by cars. Rarely will a cat get hit by a car.

I agree. But it's a two lane hwy road and there is a dip that obstructs the view in both directions. Don't know if that has anything to do with it. There is a lot of roadkill on that hwy. last week I was coming up on some buzzards on the side of the road. They usually fly off before you get close to them. Not this time. One of them hit my side mirror so hard it shattered it.

It doesnt matter if their kittens or puppies, if mama is not around, they come with me and I would take them immediately to the Humane Society.
Just because the mom isn't around doesn't mean that the animal is abandoned or orphaned. Animals routinely leave their hungry offspring hidden/ nesting to go search for food .

Humans more than likely kidnap " abandoned " animals thinking that they are rescuing them.

My daughter did this once, the owner wasn't very amused but glad we got it resolved.

Couldn't imagine being too upset that a child thought she was rescuing an orphaned animal. People mean well , but mother animals need to hunt or forage for food & leave the hungry babies hidden behind.

I picked a kitten up in a busy CVS parking lot because my little girl saw it. That thing bit the fire out of me! I had to use welding gloves to shove it in a box. I got home, cracked open the box and it shot off like a rocket. Never saw it again.

That was a true feral kitten. not use to humans. That's why i think these guys in the video were abandoned. no human fear what so ever.
