If you make less than $300k you shouldn’t drive a $60k plus SUV

So many $60,000 millionaires driving Suburbans and Yukons.

Via taxation you have to support people who don't make wise decisions after their working years are over.

I make $30,000. What are my options?

I don’t give a shite what anyone else drives... I’ve got much bigger fish to fry.

I think the general rule is that a vehicle shouldn't cost more than half of your annual income unless you have a big downpayment.

Damn, in that case my Gulfstream was 1% over budget.

I agree but it isn't your business

I thought you only approved of Trabants?

I think the rule of thumb is that your monthly note should be no more than 1/3 of your take home pay.

I'm a Japanese snow monkey baw, I have sex with whom I want.

Screw that. The government owes me my SUV.

I'd puke if my note was 1/3 of my take home.

You'll need to show your work on that math

Too bad I can only up vote this once.
Doctors making 500k plus drive cheap vehicles. Plenty of recent grads with no debt, no kids and a good job can easily afford an 8-900$ a month car note if that is what they choose. I ready don't care one way or the other.
I am guessing the OP is jealous of someone else doing it. That's fine, too. I can understand people being jealous. Personally, I am happy for anyone that can ride in a nicer vehicle, live in a nicer house, own bigger boats, own better guns and date/marry super models. I do get that my mentality is not the same as others and can understand the jealousy factor though. It's not unreasonable to be jealous.
Sorry you are for the government telling everyone how they can spend their money.

Will you cite me to an instance where someone past their "working years" (whatever that is) has a $60k ride that you are paying for?
