If you haven’t used a scooter/bike rideshare in a big city, you’re missing out

Cheaper than your standard uber/lyft and you can stop/pause it anytime you want.

What to do when you run out of battery? Hop off and grab another one.

Easiest way to “walk” around a big city and see the sights

They're too fast in unfamiliar territory. It's different when you take the same route every day, know where the funky curb transitions, etc. are. Not interested. I tried it in a new city once, and it was not comfortable at all.

I did this in San Fran and had a blast. Took an uber and got stuck in a pride parade trying to get to the baseball stadium

In the summer of 2020, I got to travel and visit several cities across the Midwest and east coast. Lime scooters were the best way to navigate the city, especially since they were not as busy due to covid restrictions. That being said don't try to show your friend how easy it is to jump a curb on one as you scooter between two breweries, you might end up breaking your elbow...

7 years ago, I went on a six day bender in Austin for the lsu game.
Snuck a large stash on the plane, got there early, rented a boat on lake Travis, had a blast.
On Gameday, thought it’d be a good idea to ride a scooter between tailgates.
Busted my knee and flip flops, had to tape them up with University of Texas tape, and limped around for a couple hours.
Never again.

I was so worried my old arse would eat concrete trying the scooters. But I was in Munich, Germany and that city was built for moving Panzers.. long blocks, lots of straight grids..
Rented one and had a blast going to every spot I wanted to check out!
