The late 70's early 80's movie Southern Comfort was a lost NG unit that ended up fighting the locals in the basin. Give the locals some NVG and the odds are closer.

Nola, half of the invaders would either get mugged, carjacked or murdered.

My own farm. I'd eventually be killed but I'd take out dozens. I have fortified fighting positions that provide overlapping fields of fire. And yes, fortified. Dug out and fortified with sand bags and steel. I have obstacles that will divert movement out of dead zones into kill zones.

Basically, I'm a retired First Sergeant with a lot of time and enough money to do whatever the frick i want.

Wherever I am needed or can be the most effective.
