I've been to a lot of places, and the U.S. is still my #1. If I had to leave... Switzerland, Canada, New Zealand, or Australia.
Specifically in the U.S., I'd go with Bend for a medium-sized city or Seattle for a large city.

Different strokes for different folks, brah. I haven't been there (South Korea), but I see lots of people list Japan in these threads. IMHO, Japan is a great place to visit, but I don't want to spend the rest of my life there.

I can see Japan, just not Korea. I mean, Seoul is pretty awesome but the rest of the country is not.

To answer the OP, the only place I would leave my current location for is Northern California and a few spots in Europe. I could easily live in Bavaria. Great beer, beautiful women and scenery, and easy access to the rest of Europe.
